Lola

She cracks me up. Since Artie and I have been home, she has kept us entertained beyond measure. It is sad to think that I have nearly made this dog human, but who can resist that face. This is her normal "curl up on the couch with Mommy" time. She actually did stay when I asked her to. Artie complains about her just because she is always under his feet (duh, if you cook...she will come), but he will be the first to greet her when he comes home. Our first love...Lola Marie :)

Christmas 2007

Boerne for a day and then back home. Arite and I started our first Christmas adventure about 11AM on Friday, Dec. 21st. We head out of R.O. and get on the road. We get to Keene for Artie to fix a printer. I hang out in the truck listening to my ipod. He gets back in the truck and for whatever reason, I spout out the worst 5 words ever..."Did you pack the presents?" The look on his face was one that I will never forget. Needless to say, we turn around and truck back about an hour with out one word being said. I have really learned since being married when to talk and when to just keep quiet. Well, we got the presents and then we headed out again! We finally made it to Boerne to spend the evening and next day with Eric, Amanda and the boys. They are getting so big. We only get to go down a couple of times a year, so it has been a while since we have seen them last. We then headed home Sat. night and made it home about 11:30PM. I even stayed awake the whole way home. One down, one to go!
