Miss "E" comes to play

Miss "E" came over today when her parents came to town to look for a new place to live.  Melissa and Brian Loftin are moving back to the area and we could not be happier!  The girls are 15 days apart.  It is fun to see how much they have grown and changed.

"V" loved having Miss "E" here to play with.  Here are some pics. from the time together.

Miss "E" can already sit up!  "V"...not so much...but we are getting there.

"V" loved "E"'s socks.

Santa and Christmas Day

I got up at 5:00 AM with "V" and was the only one up for a long time.  I fed her, made coffee for the boys, made breakfast and then tried hard to wake up the boys to let them know Santa had come.  Eric finally had to get them up.  "V" sat in her high chair checking out some of the things she got.

We then headed to my families house.  We had a great time with Greg, Winonah, Flecher, Lacy, Daniel, Grant and my mom and dad.

This is baby girl's stocking and some of our decorations for this year.

The night before Christmas and Christmas Eve

Artie's brother and his boys came up to spend the holiday with us and to get a few surprises of their own.  Wed, they rolled into town and we (me and the boys) went to see "A Christmas Carol" off of Turtle Creek in Dallas.  It was a surprise to them and they had no idea what was going on.  I told them that we were going to sing Christmas carols and they all got really quiet.  A couple of them started to even sulk...and that just made me want to keep the fib going on even longer.  The oldest pulled me aside and asked me if it was true.  I told him to read his ticket and figure it out.  He looked at me and said..."Theater...hmmmm.  Guess we are seeing a play about A Christmas Carol."  I said "YES" and he quickly went back over to where his brothers sat and said, "Boy, I sure am glad we are here to sing.  I just love to sing."  This made the others even more mad.  They eventually figured it out and they loved it.  Here are some pics from that night.

Uncle Eric lovin' on his little girl.

After the boys trip to "Great Wolf Lodge", they brought back "V" some wolf ears.  Too cute.

Leave them on long enough and this is what happens!!!!!

Happy first Christmas!!
