2 1/2 and loving life

January brought us into the downward sloap to 3 years old.  "V" is growing up so fast and we just love the little lady she is becoming.

Just wanted to jot down some things about this time in her live that I don't want to forget.

  • V loves sandwiches.  She will ask for that for supper these das 9 times out of 10.  She is cool with any type of sandwich...she just wants a sandwich.
  • V also loves mexican food.  She can put away 1 enchilada, rice, beans and some guacamole.
  • She love to order for herself.
  • Princess' are the newest thing.  She loves to "freetend" (as she calls it) that she is Cinderella most days.
  • We are sleeping well, but getting to bed has started to be a problem.  I first hear, "No time for bed Mommy."  We then go through our prayers and she tries to con her way out of bed.  But needless to say, I win every time.
  • She LOVES to go to Children's Day Out.  One of her teachers was her teacher last year too.  Mrs. Stefanie love V.
  • V hates to wake up early in the morning.  The other day I was told..."Get out of here mommy.  No time to get up."  as she points to the door while never even opening an eye.
  • V's vocabulary is out of control!  She has so many words that sometimes....she uses them against us...he he.
I am so sad that she is almost 3.  Where had the time gone and how can I get it to stop!!

Long time no post

Things have been so busy around the Rypple house that I have not sat down and taken time to post.  Shame on me since I have so much to share.
My sister was out on maternity leave for the month of January.  While out, my mom would take "V" over to her house to play sometimes.  This is a pic of "V" dressing up as a chef.  Too cute!
"G" had his first singing program at school.  It was in February and all the songs were about love.  He even had a speaking part.  He, of course, was the loudest singer.

The H family...minus one baby and plus my baby

Valentine's Day brought sweet cards, a couple of presents and this LOVE BUG getting to have a great day at Mother's Day Out.  She had her little party and brought home some fun little valentines.

This is V on the way to Ennis the other day.  She has been weird about her Sunday afternoon naps.  She finally crashed on the way home.

Valentine's Day brought these super cute photos of my two neices.

G won the manners lunch in the cafeteria at school.
He came down to tell me after his name was announced!  So happy for him!

We are full on in the potty training mode.
V has done really well and I think by the time Spring break hits, we will be on our way to being completely potty trained.
Sweet baby girl got sick yesterday.  I knew something wasn't right, so we went to the dr. and found out it was strep.  She felt so bad.  Today I am home with her and she is so much better.  Yeah for medicine!
Baby girl picking out her own clothes for the day.  Comfy all the way!
She got to pick out a movie in the AM and we did puzzles for a long time also.  She is trying to work harder ones now days.  Here are some that she wanted to show off.

CDO had the fireman come one day in Feb.  Here is V on the truck.  She loved it!
