Random

Well, no pics were taken while at the in laws.  I feel horrible, but I just never found the time to get the camera out and make everyone pose.  I def. had more time for that before "V" came along. 

I just finished watching an episode with the Duggar family.  I just get tired from watching them.  I am exhausted at the end of the day with one little kiddo...how does one even manage a household with 19.  I am glad they have the Lord in their life because with all those kids, I would have to be praying to someone to get me through the day.

Made my first batch of baby food tonight.  "V" will get to try green beans tomorrow night.  It doesn't look all that great, but hopefully she will keep it down.  Rice cereal is going great and she is just being a trooper.  She even wants to hold the spoon herself. She eats it much better that way so hey, why not...our first glimpse of being independent.

Got my hair colored today.  Not that I don't like my brown...I just don't want this sweet baby of mine to see all that gray that just has happened to creep up on my in the last 5 years.  Hmmm...been married 5 years...coincidence?   

Christmas is quickly coming on.  I am so excited to have this first year of all of us together.  I can't wait to see "V"'s reaction to the tree.  I can only guess what next year will be like.  But for now, I am going to bask in the happiness that we are all together and that we have our best gift ever to share it with!

What a week!

Our craziness started on Sat.  "V" got sick at her stomach at about noon and it didn't stop until...well, today the jury is still out.  I stayed home from school to make sure she is finally over it.  Fletcher was down for the weekend and he got sick Monday, Grant was sick Tuesday, and my mom was sick Wed.  For a little girl, "V" passed the goods all around quickly.

So while home, I plan on getting things all cleaned up and washed up.  I am off all week next week and I don't really want to spend it washing and cleaning. 

Leaving Sat. for San Antonio to visit the in-laws.  Should get some great pics while there.

One happy girl

4 Months old

Well, 4 months have flown by.  Here are some things that I am good at now:

I can roll over from back to belly and from belly to back.

I make all kinds of noises now that our loud and high pitched.

I smile at pretty much everyone now.

I am eating cereal and it is ok...but I would rather have REAL food!

I drool on everything and can eat my toes.

I am still sleeping through the night and love a good long nap.

My stats are 15 lbs. 11 ozs.  I am 25 inches tall.

I am such a sweet baby and never cry unless I am not feeling well or really tired.

SFA Homecoming

It is that time again.  A trip to Nacogdoches to see all the old friends from the Yellow House (the church of Christ student center that I went to while in college.)
It was super fun to see everyone and take Vivian to meet all of them.  She had a special friend that she was ready to meet.  My friends Melissa and Brian had a baby 15 days before I did and this was their first meeting!
