Spendin' the day with my girl!

Today was a WONDERFUL day outside! 

"V" and I spent the day together inside and out.  Artie was working on getting our planters ready for onions, carrots, peas, and lots of other veges that "V" eats.  So, we visited him in the yard, took a ride on the lawn mower, and took a good walk down our street.  When we came in to rest a while, "V" was just too funny. 

She loves to look at herself.  (wonder where she got that)   This is "V" checking herself out.  At one point, she sees me in the mirror taking pics of her.

I borrowed Grant's "Johnny Jump Up" for "V" to use.  She loves it.  She even would stop and pose for me when I would say her name.

I have teeth.  A good picture of those little boogers.  I now have to be super careful when she gives me kisses...she bites me and it HURTS!

Finally - the first time she has EVER held her bottle.

This is a new face we have.  She crinkles up her nose and purses her lips together and sniffs in and out like a bull ready to charge.  It is a sight.  This is not the full face, but it is as close as I could get.  She is a fast one.

Needless to say, I love our days together.  She is the light of my life and I can not squeeze her up enough. 

Visiors are the best!

My college friend Lee Ann came up for the weekend.  She hasn't seen "V" since SFA homecoming.  So, a visit was in order.  Here they are sharing a moment together.

It snowed here yesterday.  We had a about 2 inches of snow.  We all got cabin fever...even Lola and Otis.

Happy New Year...I am 6 months old!

I am  1/2 a year old today!

All the things that I can do:  I am constantly using my voice to let others know what I want and don't want.  I eat cereal daily and have tried green beans, peas, carrots, and apples.  I am not a great eater, so far.  I don't like to open my mouth for food.  But give me a bottle and I will suck it down quick!  I drink about 6-7 oz each time I eat.  I take about 3-4 naps a day.  Some are long and others are short.  I sleep between 9-11 hrs a night.  I have one tooth (front left bottom) and I am getting my bottom right tooth in now.  I don't usually wake up during the night, but since my tooth has come in, that has changed just a little bit.  I use all my toys now and love to discover how they work.  I use my fine motor skills ALL the time.  I roll everywhere to get what I want.  I am trying to sit up...but not there just yet.  I push my whole upper body up with my arms and raise my head way up in the sky.  I smile at everyone and study peoples faces.  I don't have any separation anxiety yet...and that is good for momma and daddy.
