CHICKENS!

We have chickens at our house.  Artie brought them home in April and we just now have our very own eggs!  He built the chicken coop that is featured in the video.  It is a hit with the little ones and they always want to check on them each time they come over.

Arite turned "42" yesterday.  His favorite cake is one that his grandmother (the one that Vivian is named after) use to make for him.  So I got the recipe and make it for him.  Man is it good...if I do say so myself.

This is my cousin Shannon and her 2 little girls...Blair and Ramsey.  Her oldest boy was at school.  My mom, Grant, Vivi and I went to visit her and her kiddos for the morning.  It was great fun!

Ramsey and Vivian are about 2 months apart.  Have no idea what Vivian is looking at, but Ramsey is trying to help her out.

Needless to say, Grant found what he likes to play on...a drum set.  They also had a microphone that he found MOST appealing!

Vivian and I went over to see the family and of course Grant wanted to get into the action of feeding her.  He has been so sweet to "Bibian" since she has been born.  He loves to help out. 

This is not how I put her to bed, but this is how we ended up.  Turned a full 90 degrees and and wiggled to freedom.

Bathtime is super fun.  Check out the water and you will know how wet Artie and I were by the end of this bath. 

Could not get her at all to look at me...but she was still sporting her fav. T-shirt.

Cutest sneeze ever

After I feed Vivian, Artie gives her a bottle.  She is always so happy and they have many conversations after she is good and satisfied!  I finally caught one of her sneezes...which is super cute.

One month old

On Sunday, our little lady turned one month.  Time has flown by this past month, but it has been full of wonderful firsts.  We have cried, smiled, laughed, and started to communicate like crazy.  I love those sweet little sneezes and that she wakes up cooing and not crying.  Artie and I could not have asked for a better baby.  Now when she starts talking back and that "free will" starts to come out...I have this to reflect back on and remember the good old days!
