Right after "V" turned 3, she and I headed down to Boerne for our annual trip to see the in laws. V and I got started on the road early and then crazy came to visit!
We got as far as West and then my van decided to have transmission trouble again. I ended up having to get a rental car and have mine towed back to the area to get fixed. Luckily, it was still under warranty and it was free...well, sort of.
The best part of this story was when I was stranded, I had an angel in a KIA stop and help me! I called Artie to tell him where I was and what happened and then I got off the phone to handle business on my end. While I was on the phone with AAA, a man pulled up behind me. Little did I know, Artie had just been on the phone with a co-worker of his that happened to be in West and was in the exact location that I was. He pulled off the highway and waited with V and I for over an hour...watching her while I emptied my car and dealt with the wrecker. THANK YOU Cecil. You were an angel!

The last night I was at Eric's, he decided that he wanted to have a garage sale. Little did I know how much stuff he had and that he had NEVER had a garage sale before. So, with my expert garage sale experience, he wanted to give it a try. He and I were up until about 2:30 AM pricing stuff. Then the alarm went off at 5AM and I headed off to get money and donuts! Needless to say, we pulled it off and Eric made a killing!
After getting her sugared up, we headed home. No drama on the way home and I am externally blessed for that!
