Artie came home with this book for me about a week ago. He knows I really love to watch their show and I truly enjoy seeing the kids growing up right before our eyes. I have complete interest in how Kate and Jon live a crazy life with 8 kids. Since I have read the book, I understand so much of what they choose not to show or don't have time to show in a 30 min episode. Their faith is evident throughout the whole book. I don't see how you could have that life with out God right in the middle of it. I love their organization, discipline, and the fact that they "keep it real" on the show. I have a part of me that feels for them in their infertility struggle and in the book they go into that in great detail. I know exactly where they were. Fear, anticipation, and the helplessness of someone else having to help out where help should not be. Anyway - If you have not seen the show or read the book yet - I suggest you do. :)
