Vivian's room

We have finally finished her room for the most part.  There are a few more "details" to be done, but it is all painted and furniture is in and set up!  I am so proud of Artie and all his hard wood work that he did.  It turned out beautiful!

Baby shower

This was our first shower that we were given by friends.  It was a beautiful shower and could not have been more blessed by the love and support that we got from everyone.

Updates and happenings

I am 30 weeks tomorrow.  Things have been progressing along great.  Went to the dr. Aprl 1st and he said all is going well.  I am feeling good...with the exception of having developed carple tunnel and I have started swelling in my hands and feet.  Being on my feet much of the day doesn't help much either.  But, no worries...just gonna roll with the punches.  Next appt. will be May 3rd and from then on I get to go 2 times a month. 

Vivian is still very active.  She is cracks me up with her "alien" type movements.  I think God daily that I get to experience this and try to give Artie every opportunity to do the same.  I love that when he talks to her and says her name...she does flips.  Already a daddy's girl.

The baby's room is coming along.  We have the pink part painted and baseboards are nearly done.  So ready to have it finished so I can get the furniture in there.

3rd trimester and OB appt.

Thursday, I went to the dr. to have my 7 month checkup.  Got there a little early and got right in.  Dr. Norwood congratulated me on making it this far.  He said at this point...if I go into labor, Vivian will have a 99% chance of survivial and is at a low risk of major problems.  I told him that I had a talk with her and she is not going anywhere until June.  He was glad I had "taken care of that" already.  He measured me and I meansured 28 weeks and I am 28 weeks tomorrow.  Blood pressure was just fine and my weight is still ok.  Only have gained about 12 lbs so far by his records.  He listened to her heartbeat and it was 160 this time.  Very strong and she also did some good kicking  while being pushed on and the dr. was excited to see how much she moves.  Don't have to go back until May 3rd and then I start 2 times a month.  So excited that we  are getting thing in order around here...sort of.  Her room should be finished by beginning of May.  Just trying to give us enough time to get it done since April is horrible for us as far as FREE time goes.  Not good...but we will get it done!
