NKOTB Concert

Ok ladies that are NKOTB fans! Be jealous! We went to their concert last night and it was GREAT! Here are some pics from the concert and a couple of videos. I haven't felt like I was 12 in a LONG time.

The boys right after they came out.

Lee Ann covering her ears from all the screaming girls!

Lacy and Lee Ann on the ride to Manny's restaurant.

Vanessa too.

This was on the big round stage right in front of us.

Before the concert...trying to stay warm.

They are coming!

Look at how many 30 year old screaming, crazy women are on one room!?!

Click, click, click!

My lovely Jordan! He was way hotter in person!

Ok - this video is FUNNY - right after I pan to see my friends, look at Joey in the black. He picks up a bra (nothing less than a DD mind you) and starts swinging it around like a flag. It was too funny!

This video is showcasing Jordan. I liked the end of this song, so I thought I would share.

Trip to the zoo

The whole Hoffman clan (with Daniel too, but excluding Greg and Winonah), went to the Dallas Zoo this Sat. Fletcher is in town for his first overnight visit with MiMi and Paw Paw. He had a blast and loved being around his aunts, uncle, cousin and grandparents. These pics are from my camera, so there are more of me than the other members of our family (adults). Will post a couple of those when I get them.

Grant: The official map reader!

This tree is BIG!
We are just about to go on the train ride that he patiently waited for all day!

He was not so fond of this statue. We finally learned the word "FAKE" by the end of our trip.
THE TRAIN RIDE. His face says it all.

He got two animals from the gift shop. "Henna and Teeta"
A day at the zoo puts them out like a light!

Thought this was funny!

Saw this on the say to Artie's family's house in Bandera. We went the back way through Hamilton. They have a restaurant there that has this banner outside. It cracked me up and I had to share it.

TAGGED!

I got tagged and here are the rules as I was told:

Check the list after my 6 THINGS to see if you're it and then:
1. Link to the person who tagged you.
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Write six random things about yourself.
4. Tag six or so people at the end of your post.
5. Let each person know he or she has been tagged.
6. Let the tagger know when your entry is up.

Here I go!

1. I am deathly afraid mice. We found one in our house (the first one since Artie moved here 11 years ago) and I flat footed jumped 3 feet onto our couch in the living room. My back is still paying for the scare. But we are officially un-infested!

2. We started going to a new church. I have gone to the Ennis church of Christ since I was 2. It was a really hard decision to make, but we are so happy at our new church. It is closer to where we live (it is right outside of Waxahachie). They have a praise team that I plan on one day joining. I have always wanted to sing with a group.

3. I love apples. Not just any apples, it has to be a granny smith, jona gold, braeburn, or the one at the organic store that I can not remember the name of right off hand. When I started weight watchers like 3 years ago, I had to find a filler snack with LOW points. Apples are only 1 pt. and they fill you up like crazy. I have had an apple a day (or 2 or 3) ever since. It has done wonders with sickness as well. No colds for me and you know I work in the land of germs.

4. I don't drink caffeine anymore. I gave it up a good while ago when we started trying for babies. It was just one of the many precautions I took and I just decided it was good to get rid of it all together. I don't miss it anymore. I just pretend it is in my caffeine free diet cokes and tea.

5. I am a COSTO freak! We buy in bulk! You can never have too many boxes of chicken stock!

6. I love my kids at school this year. I mean ALL of them. There is not one that I wouldn't bring home with me and call my own. This is VAST difference from last year. Each year brings its own challenges, but I haven't found too many yet. THANK YOU LORD!
