Back at home

I had my procedure yesterday and I am feeling really well. I would not consider myself a hyper person by any means, but it is really hard to keep still. I have all my favorite covers and my book...well, and my laptop to keep me busy. The procedure itself was really interesting. I had to have a FULL bladder to get a really good image during my sonogram...so that was the most painful part of the procedure. They then got on the phone and on speaker yelled for "Lisa" (our babysitter for the moment) to come and bring the 2 embryos. They put them in through what my doctor so lovingly called a "coffee straw". Artie and I could see them go in and then they were done. I stayed there for 20 min and I was on my way home. CRAZY! It all took less than 45 min and then I was the new incubator. They emplanted the 2 on the left. If you look at the top left one, that will show you a little hole or crater. That means it is mature enough to be put in. The ones on the right will be frozen to be used at another time if needed. The numbers on the side tell how big they are growing. They were, as of yesterday, one BB. It is a big long word, but let's just say it is good! Hope this excites you like it did us. Not many people get to see how their kids grow after conception, so we think we are really lucky and blessed to see the whole process through!
