17 months old

It is hard to believe that you are this old already.  I am loving this age with you.  You are talking so much.  Have been keeping up with your words and you say up to about 50 words now.  Tonight when we called your daddy on the phone to say goodnight (he is working late), you called him Artie.  We both just died laughing.  You are loving CDO and don't mind going at all now.  You will eat just about anything and you love to eat off of our plates.  You are enjoying seeing Christmas lights.  Last year you were too young.  You love to play in your room, but most of your time in there is spent putting on stuff that you grabbed from the drawers or putting on shoes that you have found.  Animals are still super great in your world.  We can't wait to go to the zoo for the first time.  We are trying to keep you well these days.  Too many ear infections means we are taking you to an ENT in Dallas to see about tubes.  You are so much like us both we can hardly stand it.  We have our work cut out for us...but we love every second!
