Take me out to the ball game...softball that is!

Rewind...Here are a couple of pics I took last week at V's and G's CDO program.  They were on a different camera (I know - I WAS the crazy lady with 2 cameras and one camcorder.)  These kiddos are so bad about not looking at a camera...but at least they are looking in the same direction.

The Hobbs gang!

MiMi and her munchkins!
My mom had her glasses off and apparently my kids likes to stare.

Random photo - Went in to get V one morning last week to find this.  All her animals and baby doll lines up and she said they were at "school".  Oh my...do we have another teacher on our hands?

"V" and I headed out to the baseball fields here in RO to see the Lady Lions play a little softball.  They were just one game away from state.  Since it was so close to my house, we went for a little bit to see the action!

Christine, Eric, and "J" were out there with us tonight.

"V" got her some SISSY love (that is what she calls Lacy)

"J" and "G" had fun playing on the phones.

I had to change the sheets this afternoon before "V"'s nap, so I put the mattress on the floor for a bit.  I came back in her room to find this.  Love that she loves to read!

Then comes the real fun!  She loves to jump now that she can get both of those feet in the air.

Classic "ARTIE FACE" look.

Only 3 1/2 more days of school!!  Just sayin'!

"V's" CDO graduation

Today, "V" and "G" had their CDO graduation program.  They were too cute and it was just a realization that they are both growing up so fast.

This is "V" coming in with her nursery group.

This is "G" coming in with his friends.

Her class...waiting to sing.

Singing the Itsy Bitsy Spider

If you look at her hair, you will see how fast she is running in place.

This is her laughing during the program.

I got some news today...

I got voted teacher of the year for my school.  When my partner teacher read the e-mail out loud and said my name, I didn't even know what she was saying.  I asked her what she had just said and then she repeated..."You won!"  I then was tackled by all my little ones on the carpet.  My face turned red and all I could think was..."If my name is drawn ...do I have to say a speech?"  My name is now in a pool in the district and they will pull one elementry and one secondary teacher's name.  If mine is chosen, I will then be put in the pool for the grand prize (who knows what that is...praying it is a trip to Hawaii...LOL) among all of Region 10.
Either way...win or lose...I am happy the people I work with day in and day out like my work enough to nominate me.  SWEET!

Mother's day #3

It is that time again.  Time to celebrate what I most wanted out of life...to be a momma.  These past 2 years have been the most wonderful years of my life.  Watching this sweet little girl grow up daily is just a joy.  I thank God every day that He saw fit to let us raise her and love on her as much as we can.  This "job" has to be the best in the whole world.  Being paid in hugs and kisses and "TOO TOO's" (aka...love you too) is the best.
This was my first mother's day 2010.  I was just about a month away from having "V"...or so I thought.

This was 2011

This is 2012...boy how time flies.  "V" was not much into taking pictures, but I did seem to squeeze convince her to take a couple with me before church.

Lazy kisses

"V" took some time out to read a bit.  She likes her new summer hat.

I had to clean out her car seat and wash the cover the other day.  While it was in the living room, she decided that she wanted to eat her snack in it.  I do have to admit...it is a very comfortable seat and popcorn makes it all the better!

Birthdays and YEA MAY!

A couple of Sundays ago, "V" was invited to her first birthday party for a friend from church.  It was a Sesame Street party, so I felt that we needed to dress the part.  "V" loves Sesame Street characters...so we of course had a shirt just right for the party.  Pooh made his way in the picture also.

It is like I have been looking at those eyes all my life.

Getting everyone ready for the party.

"V" took it upon herself to be the official greeter at the party.  When the door bell rang, she ran to the door and tried to open it and yell out "HI" to everyone coming in.

"E" and her cake

"V" trying to eat some ice cream.  She was not so interested in the cake and ice cream.  If it had been a plate full of popcorn or broccoli, she would have been all over it!

This is our "COLD" face - notice the hands are placed just right and are in a fist..."COLD!"

The few 5 seconds she was chillin' out.

"V" and her bag of goodies and she is to get more from the pinata soon!

GOOD TRY!

"G" also had his birthday in April.  He is now 4!
"V" is not in any pictures because she was home sick with strep.  Little did I know...but I was to get it 4 days later!  NOT FUN!

"F" showing off his ANGRY BIRDS shirt.  This was the theme of the party.

Lacy, my sister, made these cute bags with all the angry birds on them.  The kiddos loved the Easter egg hunt they were about to go on!

Daniel and his dad set up this angry birds display that the boys were to knock down with a red ball.  Notice the green balls in which she made into the "green pigs".

They were not the best at it, so they did what little boys do...tear it down themselves.

Happy Birthday "G"!

YEA FOR MAY!!
Today we were getting ready for church and "V" wanted to take her picture (she only asks to do this when she things she looks dressed up and pretty)

I am so ready to stay home with this sweet little monkey for the summer.
She is such a character.  She was playing with the light in this picture.

She decided to say "HAPPY" while taking this picture.

She loves this man so much.  His name is the first thing she says when she wakes up and loves to show him what she is wearing.  When we are getting ready for church or school, she says "Show Daddy?" like 100 times.  As soon as I let her down, she runs in to where he is and yells "DADDY" for him to turn around and comment on her outfit.  For such a manly man, he sure does love his little lady.  He loves for her to be dolled up and the bigger the bow the better.  So glad I picked a wonderful daddy for "V".

19 more days of school!  Let the countdown begin!
