Birthdays and YEA MAY!

A couple of Sundays ago, "V" was invited to her first birthday party for a friend from church.  It was a Sesame Street party, so I felt that we needed to dress the part.  "V" loves Sesame Street characters...so we of course had a shirt just right for the party.  Pooh made his way in the picture also.

It is like I have been looking at those eyes all my life.

Getting everyone ready for the party.

"V" took it upon herself to be the official greeter at the party.  When the door bell rang, she ran to the door and tried to open it and yell out "HI" to everyone coming in.

"E" and her cake

"V" trying to eat some ice cream.  She was not so interested in the cake and ice cream.  If it had been a plate full of popcorn or broccoli, she would have been all over it!

This is our "COLD" face - notice the hands are placed just right and are in a fist..."COLD!"

The few 5 seconds she was chillin' out.

"V" and her bag of goodies and she is to get more from the pinata soon!

GOOD TRY!

"G" also had his birthday in April.  He is now 4!
"V" is not in any pictures because she was home sick with strep.  Little did I know...but I was to get it 4 days later!  NOT FUN!

"F" showing off his ANGRY BIRDS shirt.  This was the theme of the party.

Lacy, my sister, made these cute bags with all the angry birds on them.  The kiddos loved the Easter egg hunt they were about to go on!

Daniel and his dad set up this angry birds display that the boys were to knock down with a red ball.  Notice the green balls in which she made into the "green pigs".

They were not the best at it, so they did what little boys do...tear it down themselves.

Happy Birthday "G"!

YEA FOR MAY!!
Today we were getting ready for church and "V" wanted to take her picture (she only asks to do this when she things she looks dressed up and pretty)

I am so ready to stay home with this sweet little monkey for the summer.
She is such a character.  She was playing with the light in this picture.

She decided to say "HAPPY" while taking this picture.

She loves this man so much.  His name is the first thing she says when she wakes up and loves to show him what she is wearing.  When we are getting ready for church or school, she says "Show Daddy?" like 100 times.  As soon as I let her down, she runs in to where he is and yells "DADDY" for him to turn around and comment on her outfit.  For such a manly man, he sure does love his little lady.  He loves for her to be dolled up and the bigger the bow the better.  So glad I picked a wonderful daddy for "V".

19 more days of school!  Let the countdown begin!
